Twenty years photographing weddings in Finland from Lapland to Helsinki
My journey as a wedding photographer started back in 2007. Over the past 20 years, I have photographed hundreds of weddings, travelling from the southern coastline of Helsinki all the way to the northern reaches of Lapland, as well as shooting internationally.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, travel naturally ground to a halt. Around the same time, my own young children came along and shifted my focus. I chose to stay local to our home, capturing weddings in northern Finland and spending more invaluable time with my growing family.
Now, with my kids a little older and life settling into a rhythm, the familiar spark for travel is back. I’m ready to hit the road more frequently again and take on a handpicked number of destination wedding commissions each year.
