An experienced wedding photographer who knows Finland
Finland is beautiful, but photographing a wedding here comes with its own challenges. Weather can change quickly, daylight varies dramatically between seasons, and the best locations are not always the easiest to find.
I have photographed weddings all over Finland, from the bright days of midsummer to dark winter celebrations in the north. After almost two decades as a full-time wedding photographer, I know how to work with Finnish light, weather, locations and changing conditions.

I’m Harri Rauhanummi, a full-time wedding photographer from the Oulu region in northern Finland. After photographing weddings for almost 20 years, I have learned that experience is not about following a formula. It is about knowing what to do when the light changes, the weather turns, the schedule runs late and still being able to concentrate on creating beautiful photographs.
My style is timeless, natural and documentary in its approach. I don’t want you to spend your wedding day constantly posing for the camera. Instead, I look for the moments, expressions and details that make your day yours. When it is time for portraits, I’ll guide you when needed and give you space when a more natural approach works better. The result is a collection of images that tells the story of your wedding — from the quiet moments of getting ready to the ceremony, portraits, dinner and the celebrations afterwards.
You might choose a summer celebration by the Baltic Sea, a private villa near Helsinki, a countryside estate surrounded by forests, or an intimate wedding in the Finnish Lapland. I’m happy to travel throughout Finland for weddings and elopements.

Once we have agreed on the details, your date is reserved with a booking agreement and booking fee.
