3. sija WPJA:n 2013 Q4 kilpailussa

Viime aikoina olen tehnyt paljon lapsikuvauksia. Jos häissä on lapsia, niin kuvaan aina heitä, sillä lapset ovat kuvissa hyvin aitoja. Pohjimmiltaan dokumentaarisessa hääkuvauksessa onkin kyse aitojen tunteiden ja hetkien vangitsemisesta. Alla oleva valokuvani saavutti juuri kolmannen sijan WPJA:n kansainvälisen hääkuvakilpailun lapsikuvien kategoriassa. Recently I have been photographing  a lot of kids. If there are children at weddings I always took their photos because kids are so genuine with their expressions. After all documentary wedding photography is about genuine moments and expressions. The photo above placed 3rd in WPJA's 2013 Q4 contest's child category.

Häiden videokuvaus | Hääkuvaaja Oulu

Kauttani on mahdollista saada häiden videokuvaus ja häiden valokuvaus yhtenä pakettina. Dokumentaarinen hääkuvaustyylini on, paremman sanan puuttuessa, taiteellinen. Tämä ei silti tarkoita, että pyrkisin luomaan itselleni taidetta asiakkaideni häissä. Paremminkin kyse on siitä, että dokumentointini häissä ei ole uutiskuvamaista. Pyrin poimimaan häistä kauniita hetkiä, jotka toimivat yksittäisinä kuvina, mutta rakentavat myös ehjän sarjan.

Sama tyyli jatkuu kauttani varatuissa videokuvauspaketeissa. Häävideostasi tulee kuin hieman pidennetty traileri. Mikäli haluat videolle koko vihkimisen, kaikki puheet ja jokaisen kättelyn, niin emme ole sinulle oikea valinta. Mutta mikäli haluat häävideon, jota jaksaa katsoa kerta toisensa perään ja vanhempienne lisäksi myös ystävänne haluavat nähdä häävideonne, niin jatketaan keskustelua :)

Häävalokuvaus ja häävideokuvaus kannattaa ostaa pakettina. Teen yhteistyötä videon osalta vain yhden videokuvaajan kanssa, sillä on tärkeää, että valokuvista ja videosta muodostuu tyylillisesti eheä kokonaisuus. Yhtä tärkeää on myös kuvaajien kemioiden toimiminen yhteen - muuten toinen on koko ajan toisen tiellä.

I am offering a wedding photography and videography as a package.

My documentary wedding photography style, for the lack of a better word, is artistic. It doesn't mean that I use my clients weddings as an excuse to create art for myself. Rather it means that my documentary style is not a news like. I try to capture beautiful moments that can stand on their own but togerher form a story.

Same style continues with the video too. Your wedding video is going to be like a long trailer. If you want a wedding video to cover the whole ceremony, all of the speeches and each hand shake we are not the right choise for you. But if you want a wedding video that can be watched time after time and in addition to your parents also your friends are eager to see it, then we should discuss further.

Wedding photography and wedding videography should be bought as a package. I only work with one videographer because it is important that the photos and the video will fit togeter well style-wise. But as important is that photographer's and videographer's chemistries work together. Because otherwise one is always in the way of the other.
